Frequently Asked Questions

Is this club official?
No, the fan club is completely unofficial, yet, we are currently in the process of trying to officialiate it.

Do you have Michelle's address?
No, we at the club have no way in getting in contact with Michelle.  The officers are fans just like the rest of the members.

Does Michelle visit this site?
Perhaps, we have no way in telling if she does or not.  Everyone is free to make comments on the message board though, on the chance that Michelle does visit this site.

I thought her name was Michelle Khan?
The name Khan was used for her englished dubbed versions of her chinese movies.  The distributors felt that Khan sounded more western.  When Supercop was first released, she figured since audiences knew her as Khan, she would stick with it.  When she came out with Tomorrow Never Dies though, she decided to stick with her real name, which is Yeoh.

Does she really do her own stunts?
Michelle does have a stunt double, yet, she hardly uses her.  Most stars have one, even Jackie Chan or Jet Li.  Sometimes they are used for long fight sequences that have to be shot over and over again, sometimes it's just too much for one person to handle.  Michelle however, always does her biggest stunts herself, ie the motorcycle jump in Supercop, falling off a moving car, jumping off a bridge in Ah Kam (which resulted her in most serious injury to date).

Injuries, what injuries?
Many in fact.  Just to name a few.  She suffered a spinal injury when she was young, thus ending her ballet career.  In Royal Warriors, she suffered burns and a dislocated shoulder.  In Wing Chun, she suffered a dislocated elbow and fell off a horse.  As mentioned before, she suffered her most serious injury in Ah Kam, when she wasn't ready when her co-star pushed her off the bridge, and landed head first on the mattresses, where her legs actually came over her head.  She suffered a cracked rib and more damage to her spinal injury.
