Starring Michelle Yeoh (Ko), Tony Leung Chin Wai (Sing), Joey Wong (Butterfly), Donnie Yen (Yip Cheung)

Another classic for Michelle fans, it holds a special place in our hearts not just because Michelle is in the film but also because she sings the end title song (great voice, Michelle!).  Michelle’s character and her brother roam around, fighting the forces of the Emperor who is falling ill and is very old but dastardly.  Plots within plots, even the nephew of the Emperor has a special, unexpected skill.  Originally slated to have a tragic ending, producers decided there might be a sequel so changed the ending at the last minute, so the tragic ending was never seen in theaters.  It is, however, available on DVD…if, that is, you can find it.  Pretty good movie.
